Privacy notice

How GroRight collects, uses and protects the information you share with us.

What we collect and why

When you submit the Contact page form, the details you enter (name, company, business email, province or territory, planning interest, preferred contact method, optional phone, and any optional marketing choices) are sent to GroRight’s inquiry service and recorded in HighLevel, the customer relationship management (CRM) system GroRight uses. When you choose a Discovery Call time, the booking is made through HighLevel’s scheduling page, which also sends your confirmation and reminder emails. The call itself takes place on Microsoft Teams. If you message us on WhatsApp, your number and messages are received in the same HighLevel system.

We use this information only to respond to your inquiry, schedule and prepare for your call, and follow up about it. Optional marketing updates are sent only if you tick those boxes, and you can opt out at any time using the link in any email or by writing to connect@groright.com.

Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel)

If, and only if, you click “Accept” on our cookie banner, this site loads the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms (the company behind Facebook and Instagram), to measure how many people visit after seeing our ads and how many complete an inquiry. Until you accept, and at any time after you reject, the Pixel is not loaded and no request is made to Meta.

When it is on, the Pixel sends Meta two kinds of events: a page view for each page you open, and an “inquiry completed” event once our system has confirmed it received your Contact page form. Like any web request, these include the page address, your browser and device details, and your IP address. Meta also sets its own cookies on this site (named _fbp, and _fbc if you arrived from a Meta ad) and may link the visit to a Facebook or Instagram account you are signed in to. Meta handles that information under its own privacy policy and may process it outside Canada.

We do not send Meta your form answers, name, email address, phone number, company, province, planning interests, or anything about your health or finances, and we have turned off Meta’s automatic advanced matching and automatic event collection. We do not track whether you complete a Discovery Call booking, because that happens on HighLevel’s scheduling page. Page addresses are stripped of anything except standard campaign codes before the Pixel can see them.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer or on the Cookies & Tracking page. Withdrawing stops the Pixel and deletes Meta’s cookies from this site; it cannot recall events already sent.

This site does not run analytics or session replay. The Inter typeface is self-hosted from this site’s own server, so viewing a page makes no font-related request to an outside service. See the Cookies & Tracking notice for the complete list of what this site loads.

Questions about your information, or requests to access or correct it, can be sent to connect@groright.com.

Who handles your information

Your inquiry, booking and messages are stored in HighLevel, the customer relationship management system GroRight uses. The website and the service that receives the Contact form are hosted by Render. Discovery Calls take place on Microsoft Teams. If you accept marketing cookies, Meta receives the limited measurement events described above. Some of these providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States.

Your choices

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to marketing, by writing to connect@groright.com. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect our reply to an inquiry you have already sent. We keep inquiry information only for as long as it is needed to respond to you and follow up on your request.

What this intake will and will not ask for

The inquiry form collects only name, company, business email, province or territory, planning interest, preferred contact method, and optional phone. It does not request a Social Insurance Number, banking details, identification documents, medical history, shareholder agreements, or other confidential business records. A later, secure process, not this website, will collect information genuinely needed for an application.

Marketing consent is separate

Your Discovery Call request is handled separately from optional marketing updates. A single checkbox is not used to cover both, and existing contacts from GroRight’s financing business will not be automatically enrolled in insurance communications.

Applicable law

GroRight’s advisors are licensed in Alberta. Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act and the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act may both apply, depending on how information moves across borders.
